We favour one or two nearby places and short sessions. The exact buffer depends on the road, season and whether guests are travelling with you.
Can you photograph an Isle of Skye elopement without an all-day driving route?
Yes. We choose a strong local base and a compact area so the ceremony and time together remain central.
What if Scotland gives us four seasons in one day?
That is a normal planning assumption. We keep layers, shelter and indoor storytelling ready and move outside only when it remains comfortable and safe.
